Top 15 villains

For the most part, I agree with Yahoo!'s list of top 15 villains. Like Darth Vader, of course, and Davy Jones :mrgreen:

, and even the Wicked Witch of the West, who, although I don't really think proved herself the epitome of evil, rather laid a loose foundation for what evil should be.

There are some pleasantly new faces on there, like Doc Ok from the second Spiderman (who I luuuuurved) and Magneto (woot woot).

But THEN there are some that I'm sort of iffy about - like Voldemort. Granted, in the BOOKS, he's pretty durn evil- but in the movie I just don't think his acting and portrayal of the character really does him justice. I guess you have to take into consideration the major evil-ness he takes on in the books.

And I think adding Satan from South Park is really just kind of a silly gimmick...but then again I never watch South Park so I can't say much. :]

All-in-all, it's a good compilation - especially for Yahoo!.

What's everyone else think? Anyone you think they missed? Anyone who doesn't deserve the glory?

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. This list was much too Superhero/Comic Book movie intense in my opinion. Where's Bill from Kill Bill? Where's Hannibal Lecter from The Silence Of The Lambs? I also would have switched The Queen from Snow White with Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty because she's both pure twisted hatred and envy AND she looks terrifying.

You bring up a good point, but if they were to go into the more obscure villains (meaning NOT from the well-known superhero/comic book movies), then there's no way they'd be able to create a top 15. When people hear "villain", most of them think of comic/superhero villains and familiar faces, so with this regard, I think it's a suitable list.

I do agree with you on switching the Queen with Maleficent....I didn't mention it above because - oops - I thought that Queen WAS Maleficent. Haha. I didn't read the caption at the bottom of the picture.

What can I say? They all look the same after a while.

I don't think Satan, Syndrome, the One Ring, or T-1000 belong on that list. >_>
I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that's more deserving,
but when I think "villain" none of those come to mind.

I have to agree with Maurisaeth here on the unfortunate absence of everyone's favorite cannibal Dr. Hannibal Lecter.

I'm very happy at picture #9, though.

Doctor. Fricking. Horrible.
He's a brilliant villain because you sympathize SO MUCH with him.
Or rather... you sympathize with Billy. And you watch in terror as his Dr. Horrible alter ego warps him from the inside out.

EDIT: I know some of you may argue with me that Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is not a "movie" but I say that since it is a) a musical and b) almost an hour long it's CLOSE A FRIGGINOUGH.
